About the Position:
As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the hotel and cafeteria in collaboration with a junior manager. Your work will involve managerial and administrative tasks, occasionally assisting in the operations as needed. Your immediate supervisor will be the regional director.

We are constantly striving to improve, and we expect you to be motivated by development. We are committed to exchanging experiences to collectively achieve our potential. You will be progressively given more responsibilities at a pace you can handle. The position demands strong leadership qualities and adaptability. Previous experience in the hotel industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of daily operational activities
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service quality
  • Personnel management and team development
  • Contribute to the development of strategies and procedures to enhance the hotel experience
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to maintain hotel standards
  • Sales to travel agents

Qualifications:

  • Experience in hotel management or related areas
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
  • Strong understanding of the experience industry
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to handle complex situations
  • Good communication skills in English

About You:
You may be a recent graduate or want to take a break from your job to embark on an adventure and try yourself in a leadership position in Greenland. Language proficiency and previous experience in the hotel or guest service industry are advantageous.

Terms of Employment:
The employment period is a minimum of two years. Several employees have moved here for a shorter period but extended their time due to the fantastic life in Greenland.
