About Hotel SØMA Nuuk: Hotel SØMA Nuuk is a non-profit organization with a great history of serving the local community and hotel guests throughout many years.
We're a team of dedicated people who are currently seeking an extra housekeeper to assist cleaning and making sure our guests get the experience they pay and deserve while staying with us.

Job Summary: As a Housekeeper at Hotel SØMA Nuuk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our establishment. Your attention to detail, dedication to providing a pleasant environment for our guests, and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success and positive reputation of our hotel.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, ensuring they meet or exceed established cleanliness standards.
2. Change linens, make beds, and replace amenities to maintain a fresh and inviting atmosphere.
3. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, tubs, sinks, and toilets.
4. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces in guest rooms and common areas.
5. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in rooms and public spaces.
6. Address guest requests promptly and courteously.
7. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
8. Follow established safety and security procedures.
9. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a housekeeper or similar role in a hotel setting.
2. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move moderate weight.
7. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
