MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

 

Your tasks:

 

Under the supervision of the Project Superintendent, the primary role of the Maintenance Supervisor is the responsibility for all maintenance activities of underground mining equipment.

  • Carry out maintenance scheduling and planning.
  • Prioritizing work and planning work daily.
  • Oversee the completion of quarterly, semi and annual preventative maintenance.
  • Coordinate with underground team to ensure equipment performs as desired.
  • Ensuring quality standards are being met.
  • Ability and willingness to transfer/mentor your skills & knowledge to the team.
  • Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform his duties in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Requirements:

  •  

  • You have completed vocational training as a Mechanic.
  • Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with construction and/or mining equipment in an underground mining environment.
  • Solid planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft office suite.
  • Ability to multi task and work safely and effectively.
  • Follow Company and Client health and safety standards.
  •  Work in accordance with local legislation
